Thank you for choosing BL Foods! We're a family-run business passionate about bringing authentic South African-style boerewors, biscuits, Mazoe syrups, and other tasty treats to your table in the UK. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and purchases from us. By browsing or ordering, you agree to them.

How Orders Work

  • Placing an order through our site or by contacting us is an offer to purchase.

  • We'll confirm receipt via email or message, but the contract forms only when we dispatch your items (or notify you).

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders (e.g., due to stock availability, errors, or suspected issues) and will provide a full refund if needed.

Products & Allergens

  • Our range includes frozen boerewors sausages (plain, garlic, chilli, and pure beef varieties), biscuits (e.g., Bakers Tennis, Lemon Creams, EET-SUM-MOR), and Mazoe drink syrups (orange, cream soda, raspberry). Products are handcrafted with premium ingredients.

  • Images are for illustration – slight variations in appearance may occur.

  • We use no fillers, but spices may be processed in environments handling allergens. Cross-contamination risks exist for common allergens (e.g., nuts, gluten, milk, soya). Allergen details are on product pages where available – please check and contact us for full ingredient lists before ordering.

 Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

  • Delivery charges (if any) will be confirmed before finalising your order.

  • Payment is required in full at the time of order. We accept secure methods arranged via direct contact (e.g., bank transfer, card – details provided upon ordering).

Delivery

  • We deliver to UK mainland addresses only.

  • Frozen and perishable items are packed in insulated packaging with ice packs to keep them chilled/frozen.

  • Order by 12pm Monday–Thursday for next-day delivery. Orders after 12pm Thursday ship Monday for Tuesday delivery.

  • Delivery times are estimates – we use reliable couriers but aren't liable for delays beyond our control.

  • Please ensure someone is home to receive perishable goods. Redelivery fees may apply for failed attempts.

Cancellations & Returns

  • Non-perishable items (e.g., unopened syrups or sealed biscuits) can be cancelled within 14 days of receipt under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations. You'll cover return postage, and items must be unused/in original condition.

  • Perishable/frozen goods (e.g., boerewors sausages, opened items) are exempt from returns for hygiene reasons, unless faulty.

  • Notify us in writing (email/phone) to cancel, and return within 14 days. Refunds processed within 14 days of receiving goods.

Faulty or Damaged Items

  • If products arrive damaged, thawed, incorrect, or faulty, contact us within 48 hours with photos.

  • We'll arrange a replacement, refund (including delivery costs), or alternative solution at our expense.

Our Liability

  • We accept full liability for death/injury caused by our negligence, fraudulent statements, or breach of your statutory rights.

  • For other matters, our liability is limited to the order value. We aren't responsible for indirect losses or events outside our control (force majeure).
